Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shoe Tree by Tomory Dodge was sold in the Paper Jam: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in February 2020. The price achieved of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,247.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tomory Dodge achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cotton Mouth in November 2016 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shoe Tree von Tomory Dodge wurde im Februar 2020 in der Auktion Paper Jam: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.375,00 (€ 1.247,17) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tomory Dodge erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cotton Mouth im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 82.718,85).
