This artwork by Tomory Dodge achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2016. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Cotton Mouth sold for USD 87,500.00 (€ 82,718.85) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. This high result makes Cotton Mouth the most expensive artwork by Tomory Dodge that we have observed at auctions so far.
