The complete set of four screenprints in colors, on Coventry rag paper, with full margins,
15 1/8 x 19 in. (38.4 x 48.3 cm)
all signed, dated `96' and numbered 89/125 in pencil (there were also 15 artist's proofs), published by Durham Press, Durham, Pennsylvania (with their blindstamp), occasional minor scuffing, otherwise all in very good condition, all unframed, contained in original cardboard folder with printing on the front.

This artwork by Tom Slaughter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in November 2009. In the Modern and Contmporary Editions auction, the work Recession Prints IV portfolio sold for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,167.13) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tom Slaughter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hats; and Shoes in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,169.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tom Slaughter erzielte im November 2009 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contmporary Editions wurde die Arbeit Recession Prints IV portfolio für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.167,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tom Slaughter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hats; and Shoes im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.169,96).
