Signed, titled, dated and annotated 'T.P.' in pencil (a trial proof, the edition was 75), published by George Mulder Fine Art, London, with occasional soft scuffing in the image (mainly visible in raking light), occasional very minor surface soiling in the margins, a minute stain at the upper left extreme sheet edge (measures 1/4 inches), and the palest time-staining, otherwise in generally very good condition, framed.

Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tom Slaughter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in April 2020. In the Editions Online auction, the work Construction Work sold for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,597.44) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Admittedly, works by Tom Slaughter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hats; and Shoes in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,169.96).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tom Slaughter erzielte im April 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions Online wurde die Arbeit Construction Work für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.597,44) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tom Slaughter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hats; and Shoes im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.169,96).
