Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled: seven works (T-93–T-99) by Thomas Nozkowski was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 13,860.00 (€ 13,952.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Nozkowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (8-64), which sold at auction in May this year for USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled: seven works (T-93–T-99) von Thomas Nozkowski kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.860,00 (€ 13.952,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54) versteigert wurde.
