Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (B) by Thomas Nozkowski for USD 699.00 (€ 660.43). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction at Phillips in 6 - and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Nozkowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (B) von Thomas Nozkowski für USD 699,00 (€ 660,43) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper: Online Auction bei Phillips in 6 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
