Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #2, #3 and #5 (3 works) by Thomas Nozkowski was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,536.00 (€ 1,417.10) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Nozkowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #2, #3 and #5 (3 works) von Thomas Nozkowski wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.536,00 (€ 1.417,10) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
