Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Small Abstract (R. p. 204) by Thomas Nozkowski. The price achieved of USD 630.00 (€ 634.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Nozkowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Small Abstract (R. p. 204) von Thomas Nozkowski zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 630,00 (€ 634,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
