Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled #1 by Thomas Nozkowski was auctioned at Phillips in 6 - in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of USD 826.00 (€ 780.42) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Thomas Nozkowski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (8-64) in May this year with an auction result of USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled #1 von Thomas Nozkowski kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 6 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 826,00 (€ 780,42) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54).
