This artwork by Thomas Nozkowski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2019. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Untitled (8-22) sold for USD 17,500.00 (€ 15,696.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Thomas Nozkowski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (8-64), which sold at auction in May this year for USD 48,260.00 (€ 45,297.54).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Thomas Nozkowski erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Untitled (8-22) für USD 17.500,00 (€ 15.696,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Thomas Nozkowski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (8-64) beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für USD 48.260,00 (€ 45.297,54) versteigert wurde.
