Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sebastian Black could be acquired at Phillips in London in June 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,505.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 18,000.00 – 22,000.00. Other works by Sebastian Black have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2015 by the work Chess Sickness at USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sebastian Black konnte im Juni 2017 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.505,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Sebastian Black wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2015 die Arbeit Chess Sickness mit USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61).
