Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Pink Blink by Sebastian Black. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,755.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Sebastian Black have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2015 the work Chess Sickness was auctioned for USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pink Blink von Sebastian Black zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.755,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Sebastian Black konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2015 die Arbeit Chess Sickness für USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61) versteigert.
