Admittedly, works by Sebastian Black have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Chess Sickness in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.162,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sebastian Black auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Chess Sickness im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61).
