A top price for Sebastian Black - as previously expected
The work Chess Sickness by Sebastian Black was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2015. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,287.61), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Chess Sickness is the most expensive artwork by Sebastian Black that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Chess Sickness von Sebastian Black kam im Mai 2015 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.287,61) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Chess Sickness das teuerste Kunstwerk von Sebastian Black, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
