Auction result fails to reach estimate
In March 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Abstrakte Komposition auf gelbem Grund by Ruth Hildegard Raack-Geyer for EUR 410.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst at Ketterer and was even lower than the EUR 700.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ruth Hildegard Raack-Geyer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Geometrische Komposition in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 2,340.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im März 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstrakte Komposition auf gelbem Grund von Ruth Hildegard Raack-Geyer für EUR 410,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Alte und Moderne Kunst/ Maritime Kunst bei Ketterer erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von EUR 700,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ruth Hildegard Raack-Geyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Geometrische Komposition im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.340,00.
