Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work At The Gold Nugget by Robert Bechtle. The price achieved of USD 175,000.00 (€ 159,177.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Bechtle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work '64 Chrysler, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 458,500.00 (€ 351,718.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit At The Gold Nugget von Robert Bechtle zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 159.177,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Bechtle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit '64 Chrysler beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 458.500,00 (€ 351.718,32) versteigert wurde.
