Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self-Portrait by Robert Bechtle was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2021. The price achieved of USD 3,780.00 (€ 3,265.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Bechtle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work '64 Chrysler in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 458,500.00 (€ 351,718.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Robert Bechtle kam im September 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.780,00 (€ 3.265,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Bechtle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit '64 Chrysler im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 458.500,00 (€ 351.718,32).
