Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Unfinished Bridge by Pooya Aryanpour. The price achieved of USD 17,500.00 (€ 14,069.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pooya Aryanpour - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Rupture (Interrupted), which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unfinished Bridge von Pooya Aryanpour zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 14.069,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pooya Aryanpour mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit La Rupture (Interrupted) beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.474,82) versteigert wurde.
