Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Pooya Aryanpour was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 438.00 (€ 601.48). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pooya Aryanpour achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Rupture (Interrupted) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Pooya Aryanpour im April 2015 bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 438,00 (€ 601,48) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pooya Aryanpour erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Rupture (Interrupted) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.474,82).
