Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (From The Red Period) by Pooya Aryanpour for USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,695.63). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II at Christies in Dubai and was even below the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Pooya Aryanpour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Rupture (Interrupted) in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 49,000.00 (€ 31,474.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (From The Red Period) von Pooya Aryanpour für USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.695,63) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Arab,Iranian and Turkish Art Part II bei Christies in Dubai erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pooya Aryanpour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Rupture (Interrupted) im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 49.000,00 (€ 31.474,82).
