The work Ketsugou by Omar Rayo was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2019. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,225.70) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Omar Rayo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ola-Zen I, which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).

Die Arbeit Ketsugou von Omar Rayo wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 27.225,70) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Omar Rayo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ola-Zen I beobachtet, die im November 2017 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67) versteigert wurde.
