Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Fly Into Yan'An by Miao Xiaochun was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,206.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Miao Xiaochun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,249.37).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Fly Into Yan'An von Miao Xiaochun wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.206,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miao Xiaochun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.249,37).
