Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Carrying the Cross by Miao Xiaochun for GBP 625.00 (€ 738.68). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miao Xiaochun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 42,249.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Carrying the Cross von Miao Xiaochun für GBP 625,00 (€ 738,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miao Xiaochun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Carrying The Cross (Set Of Eighteen) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 42.249,37).
