It changed hands for a price of USD 28,125.00 (€ 21,617.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matthew Ritchie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Big Life oil and ink on canvas 88 x 154 in. (223.5 x 391.2 cm.) Executed in 2002. The Essential Diagrams 12 vinyl decals dimensions variable Executed in 2002.
