The work Scissors Jack I; and Scissors Jack II by Larry Zox was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,524.00 (€ 1,380.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).

Die Arbeit Scissors Jack I; and Scissors Jack II von Larry Zox wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.524,00 (€ 1.380,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
