Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scissors Jack I, II (2 works) by Larry Zox was sold in the Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash auction at Bonhams in New York in August this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 768.00 (€ 708.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Scissors Jack I, II (2 works) von Larry Zox wurde im August diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints & MultiplesSummer Splash bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 768,00 (€ 708,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
