Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions, which included the work Niagara Series I by Larry Zox. It changed hands for a price of USD 892.50 (€ 841.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 600.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Larry Zox achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints & Multiples | Live OnlineAbstractions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Niagara Series I von Larry Zox zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 892,50 (€ 841,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Larry Zox erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
