This artwork by Larry Zox achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in June this year. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Stencil Series: three plates sold for USD 4,445.00 (€ 4,070.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Larry Zox have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quaminis in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 29,033.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Larry Zox erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Stencil Series: three plates für USD 4.445,00 (€ 4.070,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Larry Zox auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quaminis im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 29.033,90).
