Auction result well in line with expectations
The work God Sell The Queen by José-María Cano was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. The price achieved of USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,263.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by José-María Cano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ws100-Jack Ma in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit God Sell The Queen von José-María Cano wurde im November 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.263,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José-María Cano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ws100-Jack Ma im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
