Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In March 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Monica Sotheby'S by José-María Cano. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 40,625.00 (€ 37,822.36). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José-María Cano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ws100-Jack Ma in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im März 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monica Sotheby'S von José-María Cano zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 40.625,00 (€ 37.822,36) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José-María Cano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ws100-Jack Ma im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
