Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. by José-María Cano was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2015. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 22,466.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José-María Cano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ws100-Jack Ma in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. von José-María Cano kam im März 2015 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 22.466,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José-María Cano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ws100-Jack Ma im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
