In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Ws100-Jack Ma by José-María Cano. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26), 61% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Ws100-Jack Ma the most expensive artwork by José-María Cano that we have observed at auctions so far.
