This artwork by José-María Cano achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2013. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Milton Friedman sold for GBP 74,500.00 (€ 88,058.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by José-María Cano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ws100-Jack Ma in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 380,075.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von José-María Cano erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Milton Friedman für GBP 74.500,00 (€ 88.058,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José-María Cano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ws100-Jack Ma im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 380.075,26).
