Auction result well in line with expectations
The work CRTN XXIV by Iran do Espírito Santo was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2019. The price achieved of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,689.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Iran do Espírito Santo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buraco de fechadura (Keyhole) in May 2016 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,516.39).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit CRTN XXIV von Iran do Espírito Santo kam im Oktober 2019 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.689,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Iran do Espírito Santo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buraco de fechadura (Keyhole) im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.516,39).
