Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work CRTN Raisonné 6 by Iran do Espírito Santo was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2013. It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,473.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iran do Espírito Santo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buraco de fechadura (Keyhole), which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,516.39).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit CRTN Raisonné 6 von Iran do Espírito Santo kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 13.473,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Iran do Espírito Santo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buraco de fechadura (Keyhole) beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 56.250,00 (€ 50.516,39) versteigert wurde.
