Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 17,500.00 (€ 13,473.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Iran do Espírito Santo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buraco de fechadura (Keyhole), which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,516.39).
