The work Star 1 and Star 2 by Huang Gang was sold in the First Open | Online auction at Christies in New York in July 2019. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,477.09) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Star (Triptych) in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 361,000.00 (€ 228,408.73).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Star 1 and Star 2 von Huang Gang wurde im Juli 2019 in der Auktion First Open | Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.477,09) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Star (Triptych) im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 361.000,00 (€ 228.408,73).
