The work The Power of Dragon by Huang Gang was sold in the FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 12,030.29), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huang Gang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Star (Triptych) in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 361,000.00 (€ 228,408.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Power of Dragon von Huang Gang wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion FIRST OPEN | Hong Kong bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 12.030,29) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huang Gang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red Star (Triptych) im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 361.000,00 (€ 228.408,73).
