Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Never Enough by Faile. The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,029.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Faile have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2009 the work New York City 02 was auctioned for GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,793.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Never Enough von Faile zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.029,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Faile konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2009 die Arbeit New York City 02 für GBP 49.250,00 (€ 57.793,22) versteigert.
