Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Giant Jackpot Dream by Faile was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in New York in June 2015. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,965.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Faile have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York City 02 in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,793.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Giant Jackpot Dream von Faile wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.965,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Faile auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York City 02 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 57.793,22).
