Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Yellow Pages by Faile for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,767.77). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Faile achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York City 02 in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,793.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yellow Pages von Faile für GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.767,77) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Faile erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York City 02 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 57.793,22).
