Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Boundless: Contemporary Art, which included the work True Love Story by Faile. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,396.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. Admittedly, works by Faile have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York City 02 in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,793.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Boundless: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit True Love Story von Faile zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.396,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Faile auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York City 02 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 57.793,22).
