Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Faile Flag, Star Spangled Shadows by Faile was sold in the TAKE IT TO THE STREETS: Auction to benefit HOCA Foundation auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2017. The price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,194.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 24,000.00 – 36,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Faile achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York City 02 in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 49,250.00 (€ 57,793.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Faile Flag, Star Spangled Shadows von Faile wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion TAKE IT TO THE STREETS: Auction to benefit HOCA Foundation bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.194,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 24.000,00 – 36.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Faile erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit New York City 02 im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 49.250,00 (€ 57.793,22).
