Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Figure With Ladder by Elliott Hundley. The price achieved of USD 106,250.00 (€ 96,643.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Other works by Elliott Hundley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2012 the work Landslide was auctioned for USD 158,500.00 (€ 123,288.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figure With Ladder von Elliott Hundley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 96.643,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Elliott Hundley konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2012 die Arbeit Landslide für USD 158.500,00 (€ 123.288,74) versteigert.
