Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Pure Fiction, 2017 by Elliott Hundley for USD 4,080.00 (€ 3,848.33). This price was achieved in the auction Post War & Contemporary Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elliott Hundley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landslide in September 2012 with an auction result of USD 158,500.00 (€ 123,288.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pure Fiction, 2017 von Elliott Hundley für USD 4.080,00 (€ 3.848,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elliott Hundley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landslide im September 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 158.500,00 (€ 123.288,74).
