The work (I) Untitled (II) Untitled by Derek Jarman was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in April 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,622.58), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Derek Jarman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sightless in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 18,800.00 (€ 30,383.54).

Die Arbeit (I) Untitled (II) Untitled von Derek Jarman wurde im April 2013 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.622,58) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Derek Jarman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sightless im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.800,00 (€ 30.383,54).
