The work View From A Window by Derek Jarman was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2014. It achieved a price of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,057.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Admittedly, works by Derek Jarman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sightless in October 2001 with an auction result of GBP 18,800.00 (€ 30,383.54).

Die Arbeit View From A Window von Derek Jarman kam im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.057,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Derek Jarman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sightless im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.800,00 (€ 30.383,54).
