The work Sightless by Derek Jarman was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2001. It achieved a price of GBP 18,800.00 (€ 30,383.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. With this result, Sightless is even the most expensive work of art by Derek Jarman that we have observed at auctions so far.
