Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Editions & Works on Paper, which included the work Enough Already by Deborah Kass. The price achieved of USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,636.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Deborah Kass achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Deb in May last year with an auction result of USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Editions & Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Enough Already von Deborah Kass zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.890,00 (€ 1.636,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Deborah Kass erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Deb im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62).
