This artwork by Deborah Kass achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in July this year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work GOLD BARBARA (The Jewish Jackie Series) sold for USD 28,800.00 (€ 26,134.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Deborah Kass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Silver Deb, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 94,500.00 (€ 88,062.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Deborah Kass erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit GOLD BARBARA (The Jewish Jackie Series) für USD 28.800,00 (€ 26.134,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Deborah Kass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Silver Deb beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 94.500,00 (€ 88.062,62) versteigert wurde.
