The work Fast and Slow, from High and Low by David Salle was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 1,905.00 (€ 1,725.54), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Salle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mingus in Mexico in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 608,750.00 (€ 694,094.16).

Die Arbeit Fast and Slow, from High and Low von David Salle kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.905,00 (€ 1.725,54) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 27%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Salle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mingus in Mexico im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 608.750,00 (€ 694.094,16).
